About Oracle

The oracle for your financial future

Oracle is a free AI-powered life simulator that turns your current situation — your age, income, city, and goals — into a detailed, personalized map of your possible futures.

What is Oracle?

Oracle is a life simulation tool that uses advanced AI to analyze your financial and personal profile and generate a comprehensive look at where your current trajectory leads — and how you can change it.

Unlike generic financial calculators that crunch a few numbers and spit out a savings chart, Oracle builds a full narrative around your life. It considers your city's cost of living, your stated goals, your current habits, and your appetite for risk to construct scenarios that feel real and personal.

Every simulation you run produces five interconnected reports: three 5-year scenarios (optimistic, realistic, and cautious), a retirement projection with nest egg and monthly income estimates, three career path options with 10-year income forecasts, and a year-by-year wealth forecast stretching out to 20 years.

After receiving your simulation, you can ask unlimited "what if?" questions — things like "What if I moved to Austin?" or "What if I started a side business?" — and the AI will respond with a detailed, specific projection of how that single change ripples through your financial future.

How it works

01

Enter your profile

Tell Oracle your age, annual income, city, life goals (comma-separated), current habits, and risk tolerance. The more honest you are, the more accurate your results.

02

AI generates your simulation

Our AI processes your profile in real time, streaming your simulation as it builds it. You watch your future unfold sentence by sentence — scenarios, projections, and career paths all personalized to you.

03

Explore and interrogate

Once your simulation is saved, you can revisit it any time, ask what-if questions, compare it to other simulations, and track how your projections change as your life does.

Who is Oracle for?

Oracle is designed for anyone who wants to make better decisions about their financial future — especially people who find traditional financial planning tools too rigid, too complicated, or too generic.

Early-career professionals use Oracle to understand how their current salary, savings habits, and career choices will compound over the next decade — and to see which pivots could dramatically accelerate their trajectory.

Mid-career individuals use it to stress-test major decisions: moving cities, changing industries, taking a pay cut for equity, or starting a business. The what-if feature makes it easy to quantify the tradeoffs before committing.

Anyone thinking about retirement uses Oracle as a starting point to understand whether they're on track, how far off they might be, and what levers they can pull — savings rate, investment approach, retirement age — to close the gap.

Oracle is not a replacement for a licensed financial advisor. It's a thinking tool — a way to explore possibilities, ask questions, and develop financial intuition before you sit down with a professional or make a major decision.

Who's behind Oracle

Oracle is a small, independent project — not a faceless content mill. It's founded and edited by one person who reviews what goes on the site and stands behind it. We believe knowing who is writing about your money is part of being able to trust it.

Rishi is the founder and editor of Oracle. He started the project to give ordinary people a free, jargon-free way to see where their money is heading. He is not a licensed financial advisor — his role is editorial: setting the standards for every guide, reviewing drafts for accuracy and clarity, and making sure nothing on the site reads like advice dressed up as fact.
